about

This particular release is a bit of an oddity. For a handful of years I had been recording my bedroom project A.E.R. as a bit of a running joke with my old band mates. Then one day Jim DeJong asked me to release something solo, back in the early 90's on Doomsday Transmissions as a split cassette with him on the other side. I gave him a pile of cassettes, poorly recorded with a stereo microphone on a dictaphone in my bedroom between the years of 1992-94. He managed to salvage some of the more interesting parts and hinge them together as a working piece.
There were originally tracks and track titles for the original release, but they are no longer relevant with out the original version in your hands.
Released in a bag with a photo and information on the back as a split cassette with The Infant Cycle on the other side, catalogue # DDT006.

Track 2 is a bonus Track: Drain, from 1995's "A Doomsday Transmission" compilation. The first 4-Track recording with a good microphone.
Thank you to Jim DeJong for permission to rerelease these pieces from his archive.

Original notes from the cassette:
AER notes: All pieces culled from bulk master ritual cassettes recorded in the AERoom under suspicious circumstances from the years 1992-1994.
All pieces reconstructed/edited by Infant Cycle during 1994.
Thanks to Jim DeJong for suggesting this project and for his mixing.
